Product Review: Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray

By Kevelyn Vargas

This winter has been harsh on my skin. The chilly winds have been hitting my skin like some bricks and I haven’t been appreciating it one bit. I’m used to having oily/combination skin so dry spots and that tight skin feeling were all new to me. One of my best friends recommended I try Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray. At first, I didn’t want to because it’s just and extra step in my daily makeup regime. I didn’t think I needed an extra step, just needed some hydrating moisturizer. She swore by it and my girl has never steered me wrong so I took a chance.

I did no research before trying it, just to be judgement free. I instantly loved the coconut scent once I sprayed it and a little definitely goes a long way with this spray. It felt like my skins thirst got quenched. It was alive again. I went ahead and did my makeup as I normally would and WOOOW it made my make-up feel so light throughout the day. It also lasted longer, I didn’t have to spray rose water as much.

After a couple of days trying it out I decided to do research. According to Sephora this priming spray is “created in an exclusive partnership with Skindinavian and inspired by the Korean water trend, this spray is even more hydrating than B6 Prep Spray.” This is exactly what my skin needed. If you’re looking for a priming spray that promises to “visibly reduce the appearance of pores, brightens and smooths skin, and hydrates.” This is IT
